I sell outcomes, not hours. Before we start, we agree exactly what I am building, what it costs, and when it is done. That number does not move because the work took me longer. Here is how a project goes from a first conversation to a clean handoff.
The process
Five steps, no surprises.
Nothing here is complicated, and that is deliberate. The whole point of working this way is that you always know where you stand.
Step 01
Conversation
Thirty to forty-five minutes. You tell me what is going on, I ask the questions that get to the real problem, and we both decide whether there is one worth solving and whether I am the right person for it. No pitch, no slides. If it is not a fit, I will say so.
Step 02
Scope
I write down exactly what we are building, what you get, what it costs, and when it is done. One number, not a rate card. If the budget and the problem do not match, I will either restructure the scope to fit or tell you plainly that the problem needs more than the budget allows.
Step 03
Agreement
A short engagement letter. It names the scope, the fee, the timeline, what you provide, and what success looks like. The fee is fixed and paid in three parts across the project. We both sign before any work begins.
Step 04
Build
I do the work, directly with you. You see real outputs early, not a reveal at the end, because the first pass is how we calibrate what good looks like for your brand. Structured revisions are part of the scope, so feedback is built into the plan, not treated as a renegotiation.
Step 05
Handoff
The project ends with a working asset your team keeps and the documentation behind every decision. I spend the last stretch making sure your team can run it without me, and you get a thirty-day window for implementation questions after we close.
The scope is the contract. Everything I do, I do against a number and a finish line we agreed to before I started.

What a project is not.
The clearest way to explain the model is to say what it leaves out.
Not a retainer
There is no monthly fee and no standing commitment. When the project is done, it is done. If you need ongoing direction, that is a different conversation, and a different practice.
Not an hourly clock
You are not paying for my time. You are paying for a defined outcome at a price we agreed up front. How long it takes me is my problem, not yours.
Not an account layer
You work with me. There is no account manager between us and no junior team learning on your budget. That is a feature, not a gap.
Not speculative
I do not produce free creative or strategy as part of a pitch. I will walk you through how I would approach your situation, but the thinking is the work.
Not open-ended
The scope is written down. Changes are normal, and when one comes up we name it and decide together, rather than letting the work quietly expand past what we agreed.
Not a black box
You see the work as it forms, and you keep everything when it ends. The goal is a team that is more capable after the project than before it.
